Tony Lee Eng Kow

Tony joined the firm in 1981 in Penang as a Valuation Assistant. Between 1982 and 1987, he served at the Kota Bharu and Kuala Lumpur offices. He left for further studies from 1987 to 1991 at National University of Singapore. Upon graduation in 1991, he rejoined the firm as Assistant Manager in the Penang office. In 1995 he was transferred to the Butterworth practice as Associate Director where he presently remains as Director. He was appointed Partner and Director in April 2000.

Tony obtained his early education in Penang and Terengganu before obtaining his B.Sc (Hons) Estate Mgt degree from the National University of Singapore. He was admitted as a Fellow of the Institution of Surveyors Malaysia in 2006.

He is a Licensed Auctioneer in the state of Penang.

He assisted in the valuation exercise of Batu Kawan Estate (2,000 hectares) for compensation claims purposes. Batu Kawan Estate was compulsorily acquired by Penang State Government for the third township.

He has also carried out and assisted in a number of feasibility studies on sites in Seberang Perai.

His valuation experience include valuation of a steel mill complex and other large factories as well as development sites apart from routine valuation for loan purposes.

Tony has been an active member of Majlis Perbandaran Seberang Perai’s ‘SPEAD’ Committee and Lions Club of Penang (Host) since 1998 becoming the Club President in 2002 and Cabinet Secretary for Lions Club District 308 B2 in 2004.

He was the Chairman of the Institution of Surveyors (Northern Branch) in 2004 following the position as Treasurer in 2002 & 2003.
